AS I AM: THE YOGA RETREAT
WHAT’s tHE ACTUAL PROGRAM?
Pathways to @#$ is a bundle of 8 micro-retreats spread over 8 months in beautiful Topanga Canyon.
It’s ALL about sneaking away to practice, remember life, and eat well at regular intervals throughout 2020.
Each retreat will focus purely on one of the 8 fundemental steps of yoga as defined by one of yoga’s most respected sages, Patanjali.
Made to be accessible to the busy Angeleno’s schedule the micro-retreats start Saturday and end Sunday, sleeping over Saturday night to fully immerse ourelves in this yoga thing we all love.
Four chef prepared meals will be prepared per weekend except for the last two weekends which will involve fasting!
Saturday: Lunch and Dinner.
Sunday: Breakfast and Lunch.
*Three distinct yogi-chefs will divi up the weekends to create a culinary journey that starts at delicious and ends at pure.
WHY GO ON A RETREAT?
Retreats are great for the mind and body! Stepping back from life creates perspective. When we separate from our routines and relationships it gives us a chance to reconnect to ourselves without the influence of others. Retreats are a way of breaking the routine, resetting the diet, and strengthening our practices!
It takes guts to step away. Whatever takes guts is a road worth taking!
What ARE THE DATES?
The first weekend of every month. Starting in February and ending in September!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
I really want this to be accessible and affordable. There are early bird prices from Sept - Oct. Then regular prices from Nov - Jan.
There are also two bedding options. Renunciate or Comfort.
The Renunciate early bird cost for all 8 retreats is $1,800 and the regular price is $2,200.
Comfort early bird cost is $2,400 and regular price is $2,800.
That’s anywhere from $225 - 350 per retreat!
CAN I JUST GO TO A FEW OF THE RETREATS?
No, the calue of this program depends on regularly “retreating” into our practice which is not necessarily easy but so worth it! The schedule is a huge part of how Pathways to @#$ will empower our practices.

DO I HAVE TO SLEEP THERE?
Yes! It’s a sleep over. Remeber those?
But really, to not go home for one night and stay in practice amplifies the experience of the weekend. The thought of “I am still here.” is empowering. It helps us commit to the idea that yoga, soul, and self are serious priorities in our lives.
IS THIS A TEACHER TRAINING?
It is not! Its about 150 hours of practice and just shy of the 200 hour standard training length but these 150 hours are solely designed for you to practice as a student.
The strongest teachers are the strongest students!
IS THIS APPROPRIATE FOR BEGINNERS?
Absolutely. If you are beginning your yoga practice by the end of this program you will be lightyears ahead of where you were and most practitioners.
Its not a competition but the truth is many western yogis are simply not informed about the depth and intensity of this practice.
IS THIS APPROPRIATE FOR ADVANCED PRACTITIONERS?
For sure. Even if you know everything there is to know and can perform every posture, there is still the lesson of retreating itself.
